Technology
X-SYNC
SRAM X-SYNC 1x chainrings provide the highest level of performance and durability. The SRAM X-SYNC tall square teeth edges engage the chain earlier than traditional triangle shaped teeth. The sharp and narrow tooth profile, as well as rounded chamfer edges, help manage a deflected chain. To provide the best possible performance in muddy conditions, the X-SYNC chainrings have been designed with mud-clearing recesses for the inner chain links and rollers. Engineered in Germany, X-SYNC rings are an integral part of the SRAM 1x drivetrain. Accept no limitation.
AXS
AXS is SRAM's new bike component integration system that connects electronic bicycle components and software. The SRAM AXS app allows riders to see battery status, change component behavior, personalize controls, get maintenance reminders, and update firmware.

Technology
XDR
The XDR driver body is a universal mounting system for cassettes that incorporate cogs with fewer than 11 teeth. It allows for lighter and more versatile drivetrains without requiring new rear axle standards, cassette tools or hub redesigns. The XDR interface is 1.85mm longer than XD and is designed for road hub applications. XDR driver bodies are compatible with all XD cassettes when the cassette is installed with a 1.85mm spacer.

DUB
The relationship between bottom bracket spindle and bearing is the core of DUB technology. It's where stiffness meets durability. We took it a step beyond conventional thinking and made everything simpler - better integrating the relationship between chainring, crank, spindle and bottom bracket. It's this approach to developing a complete system that equals better drivetrain performance.

Force AXS HRD Shift-Brake System
All new hood ergonomics are now available for Force. This system has stiffer calipers, one-finger braking from the hoods and drops, Bonus Buttons, and texture to easily locate and actuate the buttons and controls. The improvements made resulted from over four years of rider feedback, giving an even wider range of riders the same level of comfort and control while also eliminating the possibility of finger pinch under hard braking. Less effort, less hand fatigue, a lighter feel and more comfortable, powerful braking.
Features
- One-finger braking from the hoods or the drops
- AXS enabled for easy setup, personalization, and reliability
- eTap shift logic for intuitive shifting
- Bonus Button provides ANT+ device control or auxiliary shift option
- Optimized hood shape fits the widest range of hand sizes
- Carbon brake lever for light weight
- Textured shift paddles and hoods for control and comfort
- Bleeding Edge technology for easy and clean bleeds
- Reach Adjust to personalize fit for more hand sizes
Technology
Bleeding Edge
With this new caliper fluid circuitry, the bleed port has been moved to the bottom of the caliper, and all four piston bores can communicate. This way, during bleeding fluid naturally fills the caliper, resulting in an easier, more consistent bleed.
Reach Adjust
Brake lever fit and feel is a personal thing. Riders have individual positioning preferences, as well as unique hand sizes and finger lengths. Reach adjust makes it easy to adjust your lever for maximum one-finger control for everyone.
eTap
All of the underlying tech in our new SRAM RED eTap groupset, such as wireless shifting, advanced battery power management, and mechatronics technologies, are meant to serve one ultimate purpose: to facilitate the most intuitive and consistent shifting available. This shift logic is called eTap. Right lever makes it harder, left lever makes it easier, both levers shift the front derailleur. Simple, unmistakable, and intuitive.
AXS
AXS is SRAM's new bike component integration system that connects electronic bicycle components and software. The SRAM AXS app allows riders to see battery status, change component behavior, personalize controls, get maintenance reminders, and update firmware.

Force AXS Flattop Chain
The SRAM Force AXS Flattop Road Chain is a strong and lightweight chain that unlocks all of the performance potential out of SRAM's 12 and 13 speed AXS dropbar groupsets. These chains feature a Flattop design combined with solid pins which adds strength and durability while allowing for a narrower profile and a quieter chain operation, and carefully placed cutouts on the inner and outer link plates keep the weight in check. Hard chrome plated inner link plates and rollers fight off wear and tear and work with chain lube to reduce friction, improving the chains efficiency and prolonging the chains useful life. Finally, these chains are available in two different lengths to allow these chains to fit a wide range of frame sizes and gearing combinations, and a single use Flattop PowerLock is included to make the installation of these chains a breeze.
Features
- Flattop technology adds strength and durability to narrower chains, and quiets drivetrain noise
- Hard chrome plated inner link plates and rollers prolong chain life and reduce wear
- Unique cut outs in the inner and outer link plates reduce weight
- Solid roller pins are robust and stiff for excelling shifting performance and long chain life
- Compatible with 12-speed road and 13-speed XPLR AXS dropbar groupsets
Specifications
- Speeds: 12 Speed (Road) | 13 Speed (Gravel)
- Chain Width: -
- Chain Connector: PowerLock Flattop (Single Use)

eTap/AXS Battery (For SRAM Derailleurs & RockShox Suspension/Droppers)
The SRAM eTap Battery is the power source for the eTap and AXS systems. The same battery is interchangeable between front and rear derailleurs. SRAM thought of everything when designing eTAP. Since the batteries are universal, buying 1 or 2 extras means you are never caught with a dead battery 5 minutes before a ride. The included cover plate protects the contact points during transport or storage and has a selector switch so you know the charge state of all your batteries. Even if you do lose power on a ride, simply swap them around to run the rear derailleur and make it home.
Features
- Compatible with SRAM eTap derailleurs, SRAM AXS derailleurs, RockShox Reverb AXS seatposts, and RockShox suspension
- Up to 1000 kilometers of riding per charge
- Interchangeable between front and rear derailleurs
- Includes coverplate with indicator to tell which spare batteries are charged
Specifications
- Weight: 24g
- Run Time: up to 1000 Km
