Hooked H_LOCK bead-seat up-kicks for easy and secure tubeless installation. 6069-T6 | 490 MPa + 69% UTS than 6061-T6, with higher fatigue and impact strength 28mm outer and 24mm inner width. Rounded 17mm deep profile. Micro-peened black finish strengthens the surface even further. Laser etched graphics for excellent durability.

HUNT recommend a 35-55mm tyre for best performance, tyre widths between 29mm and 65mm are also safe to use. You must not exceed the maximum tyre pressure limits set out in the table below or the maximum limit set by your tyre manufacturer if this is lower. Note: best performance is usually gained by using tyre pressures lower than the maximum, you can see our blog post here about this. These wheels arrive tubeless-ready, with tubeless tape installed and tubeless valves included, but are also designed to work perfectly with inner tubes and clincher tyres. You must not exceed the maximum pressure stated on your tyre.

High Specification Components.
Rims
A strong and lightweight 6069-T6 heat-treated rim boasts 69% higher tensile strength vs 6061-T6 alloy. The updated Gravel Race Disc features a wider 24mm internal and 28mm external rim width, creating an optimal tyre profile for wider gravel tyres, giving excellent grip and lower rolling resistance.
Spokes
The CX Delta is one of the latest offerings from Sapim, offering the aero advantage of a bladed CX Ray, with the durability of a D-Light. SCFT (Sapim Cold Forging Technology) ‘Stretch’ the spoke while retaining the linear Molecular structure of the material, thereby increasing the spoke strength at the middle by at least 48%.
H_RATCHET 40T DBL HUB
H_Ratchet double-sided system (with two floating ratchet rings). With a 40t ratchet ring resulting in rapid 9˚ engagement. The freehub body features H_Ceramik anti-bite coating to ensure maximum durability.
BEARINGS
The heart of any wheel. Investing in them makes huge sense. We use high-grade double sealed smooth-rolling sealed cartridge bearings.
NIPPLES
The conical shape of the double square nipple allows for increased accuracy in wheel building when combined with a nipple washer, allowing us to create evenly tensioned wheels with reduced stress points at the spoke hole.
WEIGHT
The consequence of the fanatic attention to detail is incredible durability and a resulting low 1403 gram wheelset weight. Acceleration and climbing are massively improved over many of the stock wheels supplied on CX/gravel disc brake bikes.

Stated wheel weights: Our stated wheel weights reflect the wheelset only; without rim tape, tubeless valves or disc brake lock rings, as is industry standard. A 3% variance (lower or higher) in total system weight is normal for wheelset manufacturing.
All HUNT wheels models have to pass our harsh cobbled-rolling-road tests for rider weight limits, please see here for more details. Max system weight 130 kg (system weight - total weight of fully kitted up rider, bike and luggage). If the system is over 120 kg then an experienced bike mechanic should check the wheel regularly.
