The 30 Carbon Disc is a do-it-all carbon disc-brake wheelset. The 30mm wide and 30mm deep U-profile serves up great handling and reduces aerodynamic drag across multiple wind yaw-angles, while keeping the rotating weight down for quick response when you put down the power. The extra-wide 22mm internal rim bed opens out your tyre profile to provide exceptional vibration reduction, cornering traction and low rolling-resistance.

Spokes
Our team has further tuned the ride quality of the 30 Carbon Disc by selecting narrower gauge spokes for the front wheel to provide compliance, with slightly thicker gauge spokes in the rear for increased power transfer.

HUNT H_Ratchet 36T SGL hub system with J-bend spoke interface and extra bearing shielding. 10-degree engagement angle with 36 tooth ratchet internals.
Technology.
The HUNT team have paired the light and wide hooked rim with new H_Ratchet 36T SGL hubs, offering a rapid 10-degree engagement angle, in a reliable, easy-to-service and long-lasting ratchet drive system. Increased engagement surface area improves power transfer and longevity of the hubs, while using less material compared to a spring-and-pawl system, resulting in a light but robust hub system designed and tested to cope with the increased torque of 1x drivetrains.
Hand-built with top-of-the-range Pillar PSR triple butted J-bend spokes and precision sealed cartridge bearings.

- For the 30 Carbon Disc, HUNT recommends a 25-35mm tire for best performance, tire widths between 25mm and 50mm are also safe to use.
