The latest generation of ARC 1100 DICUT wheels – available in disc brake version in four different rim heights 80 mm, 62 mm, 50 mm and 38 mm – was developed in cooperation with SWISS SIDE, leading expert in aerodynamic optimization. Consequently, the new AERO+ rim profile minimizes both aero drag and steering moment to improve its aerodynamic and controlling in even strong cross wind. Thus, it makes it easier for the rider to keep the aero wheel under control while taking advantage of the forward-pushing sailing effect. The wheel setup is completed by the new DT Swiss aero spokes in combination with the sleek 180 DICUT hub including ultra-light running SINC ceramic bearings.

A perfected Storm

AERO 111 Tire

When Swiss Side's aero expertise, Continental's tire know-how, and DT Swiss's wheel competence collide, the result is the AERO 111 tire: a perfected storm. Specially designed aero cavities in the patented tread pattern function as vortex generators, creating turbulent airflow on the surface that enables the air to stick to the rim shape of the front wheel. The result is a maximization of the sailing effect by delaying the flow separation from the rim, resulting in the ultimate aero wheel tire system.
